ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the team as a Food and Beverage Assistant at a brand new cafe/takeaway.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely delivery
• Assist with food preparation, cooking and presentation
• Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
• Serve drinks responsibly and upsell menu items
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters and kitchen stations
• Operate the cash register and handle billing and transactions accurately

REQUIREMENTS
• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Knowledge of food safety standards and serving techniques
• Food preparation or kitchen experience is advantageous
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent guest service skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Familiarity with culinary processes or kitchen work is advantageous
