Role Overview:
ScS is recruiting a Customer Accounts Assistant to join its Finance Team at the Sunderland support centre. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop within a fast-paced finance environment, supporting customer accounts across multiple retail stores and working closely with retail and distribution teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and manage customer accounts for assigned store regions
Process account adjustments and invoicing accurately
Reconcile end-of-day banking against accounting records
Liaise with retail and distribution colleagues to resolve queries
Submit daily information to finance houses and reconcile remittances
Support customer refund activity reviews
Produce regular reports on account status
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in finance administration or credit control
Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organised, proactive and flexible approach
Confident working independently and as part of a team
