JOB: Lifeguard (2 Posts)

Location: Haven Point, South Shields
Salary: £25,989 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, Part-time
Hours:
- Post A: 21 hours per week
- Saturday 7:00am – 6:00pm
- Sunday 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Post B: 20 hours per week
- Saturday 7:00am – 6:00pm
- Sunday 9:00am – 6:00pm
Closing Date: 27 February 2026 (12 noon)
About the Role
- Supervise swimming pools and associated facilities
- Ensure health, safety and welfare of the public and colleagues
- Monitor equipment and maintain safe leisure environment
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
