Role Overview
- Part-time Learning Support Assistant role at St Paul’s CE Primary School
- Fixed-term contract linked to EHCP funding
- 10 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks)
- Working pattern Monday to Friday, 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
- Work alongside the class teacher to support learning and development
- Adapt classroom materials and activities to meet the pupil’s needs
- Monitor and support progress in line with the EHCP
- Help maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
- Classroom experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Flexible and dedicated approach to supporting learning
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
