JOB: Equipment Officer – Community Equipment Service
Employer: Sunderland Care and Support
Location: Sunderland (Leechmere Centre)
Salary: £28,598 – £31,022 per year

Key Details

- Monday to Friday role (09:00–17:00)
- Driving required (manual licence essential)
Role
- Deliver, install and demonstrate equipment in customers’ homes
- Carry out basic repairs and maintenance
- Collect equipment when no longer needed
- Support individuals to live independently
- Work as part of Community Equipment Service team
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (manual vehicles)
- Strong communication and customer care skills
- Good IT and written skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Positive, caring attitude and flexibility
