The successful candidate will be expected to provide high-quality coaching while building strong relationships with members. The company is looking for someone who is caring, welcoming, ambitious and able to communicate effectively both on and off the gym floor.

Customer service and attention to detail are important parts of the role. Coaches are also expected to be proactive problem solvers who want to contribute to improving the company’s existing services.

The Confidence Coach says it invests in its coaches through additional CPD training, online and offline support, company events and one-to-one development with line managers. Career progression into other roles may also be available for the right candidate.

The position is a full-time employed role, with a salary of £26,000–£30,000 per year, 28 days’ annual leave and pension contributions. Part-time and self-employed opportunities may also be available where appropriate.

Applicants will progress through a two-stage recruitment process. The first stage involves an informal in-person interview and/or a short video introduction, depending on the number of applicants. The second stage involves running a small coaching session so the company can assess the applicant’s coaching ability.
