Bar/Waiting Staff role based on the South Shields coast. Flexible opportunities available across part-time, full-time, and temporary contracts in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Role Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers, providing menus and specials
- Take accurate food and drink orders
- Serve food and beverages efficiently
- Assist with basic food preparation when required
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements
- Previous hospitality experience preferred (not essential)
- Knowledge of food safety practices desirable
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions
