Professional Placements Coordinator – University of Sunderland (Sunderland)
Salary: £31,604 – £36,545
Contract: Full Time (37 hours per week)

OVERVIEW
- Based at Sunderland Campus
- Part of Academic Registry & Governance – Professional Placements, Timetabling & Awards
- Responsible for managing and monitoring placement activity within the Faculty of Education, Society and Creative Industries
- Customer-focused administrative role supporting students and stakeholders
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with partner organisations to secure placement opportunities
- Allocate students to placements based on professional requirements
- Maintain accurate data for external reporting
- Respond to complex enquiries from staff, students and external stakeholders
- Develop strong internal and external working relationships
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Support Faculty growth and professional graduate outcomes
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working in an administrative environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable and open to change
- Extensive IT systems expertise
- Ability to develop and enhance systems and processes
