About The Role

Toolstation is looking for a friendly and reliable Store Assistant to join its team in Spennymoor. The role involves helping customers, handling deliveries, organising stock and keeping the store clean and well presented.

Previous retail experience is not essential, as training will be provided. Applicants should live locally and be able to commute easily to the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Help customers find the products they need.
• Provide excellent customer service in a busy retail environment.
• Receive deliveries, unpack stock and replenish shelves.
• Prepare customer orders and carry out warehouse tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organised store.
• Promote Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts to customers.
• Work flexibly to support colleagues and store operations.

Requirements

• Friendly and approachable personality.
• Reliable, flexible and committed approach to work.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work early starts and late finishes, as the store operates between 7am and 8pm.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
