REVEALED: Here is the dog which killed Ian Langley in Shiney Row

On Tuesday evening, 54 year old Ian Langley, known as “Scouse” by his friends, was killed in an XL bully attack in Maple Terrace, Shiney Row which according to witnesses inflicted injuries so severe he was dead on the scene.

Now, we are able to reveal the photo of the offending dog, which was shot dead by police in the immediate aftermath

Ian’s death has provoked another wave of controversy over the XL bully breed, which the government has vowed to ban by the end of this year.

Some people continue to insist on defending the dogs, blaming “the owners” despite a statistically proven surge in dog attacks underlined by his breed and what critics say is its inherently aggressive nature.

A 44 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and an investigation is undergoing.
