Sainsbury’s is hiring a Trading Assistant at its Seaham Local store on a part-time fixed-term contract.
The role pays £12.60 per hour for 11.33 hours per week, with weekend early-morning shifts from 05:45 to 11:45 on Saturdays and Sundays. The closing date for applications is 7 December 2025.
As part of the Christmas team, you’ll help prepare the store for its busiest season, replenishing stock, serving customers on checkouts, supporting with deliveries, picking items for online orders, handling Click & Collect parcels and ensuring the store is clean, tidy and well-presented. The job involves physical work, including moving roll cages up to 15kg.
Applicants must be at least 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
