Southwick Restaurant suffers “another break in” over the weekend

A Southwick restaurant has voiced its disappointment after being the target of yet “another break in” over the weekend.

The Carnival House and Kitchen, based on King’s Road, announced the burglary on their social media and posted photos of smashed windows.

On their facebook, they announced: “We’re deeply saddened to once again be clearing up the building after another break-in over the weekend. We are still assessing the damage and reviewing everything that has been taken this time around.

As a venue dedicated to providing for our local community, we’re really disappointed that we have been targeted multiple times in such a short timeframe. We have contacted the police and we hope that this time, the people responsible are brought to justice.

Thank you to every single one of you who supports us, and we deeply appreciate the community spirit that you have helped us create and nuture. Long may it continue. We will be upgrading our security measures once again and hope that we can move forward with fewer damaging incidents such as this one.
