Sunderland away fans break QPR match day beer record

Travelling Sunderland fans helped break QPR’s record for the largest amount of beer sold in their ground on a match day, a football journalist with sources at the club revealed

On Saturday the lads took a full allocation of 2983 travelling fans down to west London, where the black cats came back from behind to win 3-1 in a spectacular game which also seen Jack Colback sent off.

Now, it has come out that with Sunderland’s help, Loftus Road sold more match day beer than any other time in their history.

Sunderland has always had a hardcore base of travelling fans which make tickets for away games competitive to get. Supporters will certainly see this as a badge of honour.
