This Metro Route is set to be closed tomorrow in both directions
A key metro route is set to be closed tomorrow in both directions due to track renewal work.
There will be no metros between Pelaw and South Shields, shutting down most of the South Tyneside portion of the network for 27th January.
According to an update from Nexus: “A replacement bus service number 900 will be running between South Shields and Heworth. Â Some buses will start or end outside of this area, please check the timetable for details.”
