UK: Man says his “testicles were torn off” by XL bully after it attacked him and his partner

A man stated that his “testicles were torn off” after he and his partner were attacked by his XL bully dog earlier this year, forcing him to have emergency surgery to save them.

The attack, which occurred in October, happened in Chesterfield in Derbyshire.

He claims it started after his partner thrown a stick for him to fetch, when it “clamped down” on his groin area.

The injuries were so extensive he had to go undergo to multiple stitches to save his genitals.

Unpublished photos, too graphic to release in the public domain, show indeed parts of that area were torn off.

After his partner intervened, it bit into her shin and severely injured her. It also bit into her thigh, but she ultimately succeeded locking it into a room. The two had to be rushed to hospital. The dog was ultimately put down.

XL bullies are to be banned starting at the end of this year, following a series of attacks which killed several people.

However, exemptions are possible providing an application process is undertaken and a strict cohort of rules are followed, with thousands of applications having already been reportedly approved.
