Unexploded Ordnance found behind pub, destruction underway
An item of unexploded ordnance has been found a pub in Chester-le-street, Durham Constabulary have confirmed.
It is not known how long the item had been there, or if it is a leftover from World War II.
Destruction of the item is currently underway and people are being asked to avoid the area.
