Warning: Men out trying doors around Grindon
Two men have been out trying people’s front doors around Grindon across the past two nights, SGM has seen from recent doorbell footage.
Although it is not possible to identify the men from the footage, the clips show men trying someone’s front door unsuccessfully and then having failed, running out of the garden.
The resident affected stated that the same individuals had tried their home two nights in a row.
All people in the area, as well as Sunderland in general, are being asked to be cautious.
Thieves are more prone to being active during Christmas time as there is much more, in terms of gifts and money within reach, to be taken.
