WHAT’S ON: Houghton Feast, October 6th-15th

The historic Houghton Feast has been scheduled this year from October 6th-15th, which as always will bring a wide range of activities of the town

The feast, which emerged as an annual tradition following the feast of the Archangel St. Michael, Michaelmas, has been held for over 900 years.

The event will involve a parade, the traditional roast ox, live entertainment, food stalls, fairground rides and live music, including a local choir and brass band.
