WARNING: Poundland recalls snack after fears it could contain glass ⚠️

Poundland has issued an urgent “do not eat” warning for a batch of The Tasty Snack Co. Roasted and Salted Cashews (100g) after fears the product may contain pieces of glass.

Customers who have bought the nuts — marked with batch code 56T 25255 and best before date 19 July 2026 — are advised not to consume them and to return them to any Poundland store for a full refund, even without a receipt.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has confirmed the recall and said warning notices will be displayed in all affected stores. The retailer apologised, saying customer safety “is at the heart of everything we do.”Pieces of glass could cause internal injury if swallowed, so anyone who may have eaten the affected nuts should seek medical advice.

This comes after a separate recall at Aldi involving a chocolate snack that could trigger allergic reactions.
