Sunderland City Council is inviting tender applications for the operation of beach sauna units at two prime coastal locations:
📍 Promenade, Whitburn Road, Seaburn
📍 Marine Walk, Roker
This is a unique chance to bring a premium wellness experience to two of Sunderland’s most popular beaches.
🗓 Key Details:
- 📆 Licence term: 1 Feb 2026 – 31 Jan 2027
- 🕢 Operating hours: 07:30 – 18:00
- 📌 Each site is tendered separately
- 📮 Tender forms must be returned by post (email submissions will not be accepted)
✅ Applicants must be able to:
- Comply with smoke control regulations
- Provide details of their sauna unit
- Submit a pricing policy
- Show evidence of insurance cover
