Farringdon woman faces potential JAIL after dragging neighbour outside and PUNCHING her after being insulted
A Sunderland mum could face jail after attacking her neighbour during a dispute in Farringdon.
Kelsey Taylor, 41, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm after a row outside their homes on Avonmouth Square on June 6. The court heard Taylor became angry after allegedly being insulted in front of a tradesman visiting her property.
Prosecutors say she pushed past fencing, barged into the neighbour’s home and dragged her outside before repeatedly punching her. The victim needed staples to her head, stitches to her lip and suffered extensive bruising.
Taylor disputes parts of the incident and claims both women struggled during a confrontation. A Newton Hearing in April will determine the full facts before sentencing, with the offence crossing the custody threshold.
She remains on unconditional bail.
