Overview
The Stock Assistant role at Aldi is hands-on and fast-paced, focused on keeping the store running efficiently and looking its best. You’ll play a key role in stock control, availability, and presentation while also supporting customers on the shop floor. This is a physical role where teamwork, speed, and accuracy really matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock control & replenishment
- Check and process deliveries accurately and efficiently
- Replenish shelves to ensure products are always available
- Maintain high standards of product presentation and rotation
- Inventory & loss prevention
- Support stock counts and inventory checks
- Help minimise waste and stock loss by following Aldi procedures
- Store standards
- Keep the shop floor, stockroom, and back-of-house areas clean, safe, and organised
- Ensure pricing, labels, and promotions are displayed correctly
- Customer service
- Assist customers promptly and politely with queries
- Help customers locate products and resolve issues quickly
- Teamwork
- Work closely with a small, close-knit team where everyone pulls their weight
- Support colleagues across different tasks as needed during busy periods
