About The Role
The Boat-Club & Tomahawk Durham is recruiting Bartenders/Servers to join its hospitality team. Successful candidates will work in a fast-paced venue, preparing and serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and helping create memorable experiences for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cocktails and drinks to company standards
- Deliver excellent customer service in a busy hospitality environment
- Work efficiently during peak trading periods
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Support colleagues to ensure smooth service
- Follow food safety and health regulations
- Assist with general front-of-house duties as required
What The Boat-Club & Tomahawk Durham Is Looking For
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong teamwork skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices is desirable
- Applicants must be aged 18 or over
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays and holiday periods
Important Information
- Bartenders must be able to work late shifts, with finish times typically between midnight and 2am
- Own transport is preferred due to late finishing times
- This is a year-round permanent position and is not limited to term time
