About The Role
Zapatista Burrito Bar is looking for a Trainee Manager to join its Durham team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking the next step in their hospitality or food service career, with a structured training programme and opportunities for progression into management.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete management training and development activities
- Support daily restaurant operations
- Assist with food preparation and service
- Operate tills and manage customer transactions
- Handle delivery orders efficiently
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness and service
- Motivate and support team members
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety and security procedures
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
What Zapatista Is Looking For
- Friendly, welcoming and professional attitude
- Strong communication and leadership potential
- Ability to motivate and support a team
- Passion for food and customer service
- Food preparation experience (minimum one year required)
- Customer service experience (minimum one year required)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
