SHIFT PATTERN
• Monday to Sunday
• Early shifts: typically 5am–2pm
• Late shifts: typically 2pm–10pm
• Night shifts: typically 10pm–5am
• Shifts are a minimum of 4 hours, with potential to extend up to 12 hours
• Weekend availability required
• Flexibility across different shift patterns is essential
ABOUT THE ROLE
• Unload mail and parcels
• Sort items by postcode
• Move mail and parcels through the warehouse
• Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
• Handle election materials and certain items, including food products and alcohol, in line with Royal Mail standards
REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexible approach and ability to switch between tasks
• Ability to push trolleys weighing up to 250kg
• Ability to lift mail bags weighing up to 11kg
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Previous warehouse or sorting experience is beneficial but not essential
SHIFT PAY RATES
• Day Shift: £13.69 per hour
• Dawn Shift: £14.61 per hour
• Early 05:00: £14.17 per hour
• Early 05:30: £13.93 per hour
• Evening: £14.38 per hour
• Lates: £15.14 per hour
• Nights: £16.44 per hour

• The role is temporary and flexible
