Stonbury Limited is recruiting Civils Operatives to work on clean water sites, supporting civil engineering projects and sustainable water asset management. The role involves groundworks, assisting with temporary works, operating machinery and ensuring work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of civil engineering projects, including complex schemes valued between £100,000 and £5 million.
• Carry out general construction, groundworks and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with temporary works and site activities.
• Follow instructions from the Civils Site Supervisor and management team.
• Comply with company and client health, safety, quality and environmental procedures.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe, tidy working environment.
• Work professionally and respectfully while meeting site requirements.
• Follow agreed working patterns and obtain management approval for changes.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in small to medium-sized civil engineering projects.
• Experience with groundworks, formwork, concrete works, footpaths, structures and excavations, including shoring.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Previous experience on civil engineering sites, including deep excavation.
• Dumper and excavator qualifications.
• Full driving licence.
• Ability to drive company vans safely, where driving may be monitored.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces following relevant training.
• Initiative in identifying and reporting health and safety matters.

An EUSR Water Hygiene Card and a Confined Spaces Certificate are listed as requirements, with training provided.
