Appeal for help after 63 year old woman is physically attacked and robbed on Bridge Street
An appeal for witnesses, footage and help is being made after a 63 year old woman was reportedly attacked and robbed in Bridge Street.
The incident happened at around 6am on Wednesday morning when the woman was opening a door to a premises to start work.
The victim’s family states that “two young men wearing tracksuits” attacked her by “grabbing her, pulling her to the floor”, snatching her bag and stealing it.
The bag contained her phone and purse with all of her bank cards (that have now been cancelled).
She has been taken to hospital with scrapes, bruises and minor injuries.
