Appeal for missing Hylton Road grandfather

A family is appealing for the whereabouts of a grandfather who lives on Hylton Road.

Ian Donkin, aged 60, was last seen at Sunderland Royal Hospital at 1am after he was brought there after receiving a dog inflicted injury.

But instead of receiving treatment, he left.

He did not return home and his family have filed a missing person report.

The police are involved and have contacted the hospital who confirmed he is missing.
