Salary

Training
- Sports Turf Operative Level 2
- Training delivered on site and off-the-job
- Attend Barnsley College once per month (travel expenses paid)
About the Role
- Maintain 3G playing surfaces (brushing, raking, litter removal, goal maintenance)
- Support upkeep of football and gym sites
- Maintain buildings and surrounding areas
- Assist with machinery and equipment maintenance
- Complete worksheets and maintenance records
- Support health & safety compliance and risk assessments
- Assist during tournaments and special events
- Monitor stock and materials
- Work as part of a grounds maintenance team
Requirements
- Must be over 18 years old
- Interest in grounds maintenance and sports turf
- Ability to work outdoors and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health & safety (training provided)
- Willingness to undertake apprenticeship training
