About The Role
Aramark UK is recruiting a Retail Assistant to join its team at Harlow Hill. The successful candidate will help with the day-to-day running of the retail outlet, providing friendly customer service and ensuring the store remains well stocked, clean and organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide helpful, efficient service.
- Operate tills and process purchases accurately.
- Replenish shelves and maintain attractive product displays.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Assist with deliveries and stock rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout the store.
- Follow company policies, including procedures for age-restricted sales.
- Support colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the retail operation.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
- Friendly and approachable manner.
- Confidence handling cash and operating tills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks.
- Basic understanding of stock management and merchandising.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over because the role involves age-restricted products. Employment is subject to right-to-work checks, a Basic DBS check and the relevant security clearance and eligibility requirements.
