Job Title: Delivery Driver – Argos

Location: Washington, NE37 3BR

Salary: £14.23 Per Hour

Contract: Fixed-Term Assignment Until 31 December 2026

Working Hours: Part-Time, 22.5 Hours Per Week

Shift Availability:

• Early Shift: 4:30am–1pm
• Late Shift: 1pm–10pm
• Availability may be required across any day from Sunday to Saturday.

About The Role:

Argos is recruiting a Delivery Driver to deliver products safely and on time, providing customers with a fast and reliable service during the busy festive period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Argos products directly to customers’ homes or preferred collection points.
• Load the delivery van and complete allocated deliveries using an electronic device for guidance.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and completed on time.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Follow safe driving procedures and delivery guidelines.
• Contact phone support when assistance is needed while on the road.

Requirements:

• Must be above the school-leaving age.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must hold a full UK or EU driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than six penalty points.
• Must be reliable, professional and customer-focused.
• Must be able to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying goods.
