Ashcourt is looking for a reliable and responsible Yard Operative to join its team in Newton Aycliffe.
The successful candidate will help ensure the yard operates safely and efficiently, materials are handled correctly, and high standards of housekeeping and customer service are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor incoming materials to ensure they are correctly allocated and tipped.
- Monitor the behaviour of staff and customers within the yard.
- Challenge inappropriate behaviour and report persistent issues or dangerous occurrences to the Recycling Supervisor.
- Ensure daily plant checks are completed.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards across the site.
- Treat members of the public with courtesy and professionalism.
