Key Responsibilities
- Prepare healthy, nutritious meals that meet dietary needs
- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Manage kitchen staff
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies during inspections
- Maintain kitchen inventory and manage purchasing efficiently

Requirements
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
- Experience in catering or kitchen operations
- Empathy and understanding
- Experience as a Chef, Assistant Chef, Cook or café manager welcomed
About The Role
Busy Bees is recruiting a Chef to join its Newcastle upon Tyne nursery. The successful candidate will prepare nutritious meals for children, oversee kitchen operations, maintain food safety and hygiene standards, manage kitchen stock and support the wellbeing and development of children in the nursery environment.
