About The Role
CPM UK is recruiting a Retail Store Promoter to represent Samsung in the TV and home entertainment department at Currys, Team Valley Retail Park, Gateshead.
The successful candidate will engage customers, demonstrate Samsung products and help shoppers choose televisions and home entertainment solutions that suit their needs.
This temporary opportunity is suited to someone with strong sales and customer service skills who enjoys technology and can confidently explain product features.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers and turn enquiries and product demonstrations into sales.
- Work towards agreed sales targets and performance indicators.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable Samsung products.
- Demonstrate Samsung televisions and explain premium features and technologies.
- Promote larger-screen televisions, soundbars, wall mounts and relevant accessories.
- Build positive relationships with store colleagues and managers.
- Share product knowledge and support colleagues with demonstrations.
- Maintain attractive displays, pricing and promotional materials.
- Check demonstration equipment, content and connectivity, reporting issues when necessary.
- Represent Samsung and CPM professionally.
Requirements And Training
- Confidence in customer-facing sales.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Interest in televisions, technology and home entertainment.
- Ability to demonstrate products and recommend suitable solutions.
- Professional approach and willingness to learn.
Full training and ongoing product development will be provided. The advertised training is scheduled to take place in Egham from Monday to Wednesday during the week commencing 26 October 2026, with overnight stays if required.

Important Information
