About The Role

Davanti/Porkys is looking for a passionate and energetic Chef to help lead its kitchen team and deliver high-quality dishes. The successful candidate will oversee food preparation, maintain food safety standards and help create a positive, efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise food preparation and ensure dishes meet quality and presentation standards.
• Lead, support and train kitchen staff.
• Oversee ingredient preparation, portion control and cooking techniques.
• Maintain food hygiene, safety and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
• Develop menu items and refine existing recipes.
• Monitor stock, order supplies and help reduce food waste.

Requirements

• Supervisory experience in a busy kitchen or restaurant.
• Strong cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
• Team leadership and staff development skills.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering quality food.
