Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high cleaning standards across the shop
- Keep customer and staff toilets clean, stocked, and usable
- Vacuum, mop and wipe down surfaces
- Empty bins
- Help maintain shop standards and support a positive customer experience
- Follow all Health and Safety regulations
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- Take pride in maintaining clean and safe spaces
- Experience dealing with challenging situations
- Comfortable working in a busy customer environment
- Cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Comfortable cleaning in a busy, customer-facing environment
About The Role
Entain is recruiting a Retail Cleaner to help keep its shop at 24 Clayton Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, clean, safe and welcoming for customers and colleagues. The role pays £13 per hour and typically involves three shifts per week, including weekends and bank holidays. The exact shift pattern will be discussed at the interview.
The shop is open from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday. Previous cleaning experience in retail, offices, hospitality or public areas is preferred but not essential.
