About The Role

Home Store Living, a growing furniture e-commerce business based in Newcastle, is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Social Media Livestreamer to promote and sell its furniture and home décor products through live shopping broadcasts.

You will present live shows from the company’s studio, showcasing products to a national UK audience while engaging viewers, answering questions and helping turn interest into sales.

This opportunity could suit someone who enjoys being in front of the camera, has a lively personality and is passionate about furniture, interiors and social media.

Key Responsibilities

• Present live shopping shows, typically lasting around three hours per shift.
• Showcase and promote furniture and home décor products.
• Engage with viewers and build an online audience.
• Communicate product features and encourage sales during livestreams.
• Use social media platforms to connect with potential customers.
• Bring creativity, enthusiasm and personality to each broadcast.
• Help create an engaging shopping experience for online viewers.

What Home Store Living Is Looking For

Applicants should:

• Be aged 18 or over.
• Have a confident, outgoing and lively personality.
• Feel comfortable presenting live on camera.
• Communicate clearly and engage with an online audience.
• Have a strong interest in furniture, home décor and interior trends.
• Be creative, talkative and comfortable working towards sales targets.
• Be familiar with social media and have an active TikTok, Instagram or YouTube account.
• Be fully flexible with working hours and complete a probation period.

Previous social media or social media marketing experience of around one year is preferred. GCSEs or equivalent are also preferred.
