ABOUT THE ROLE
Iconic is looking for a commercially minded Media Sales Consultant to grow digital and print revenues across North East media brands, including The Sunderland Echo, Shields Gazette and Northumberland Gazette.

The role involves developing existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering advertising solutions across digital and print platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop existing client relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
• Deliver advertising campaigns across display, video, social, branded content and audience targeting.
• Use audience insights and campaign performance data to demonstrate the value of media platforms.
• Manage your own sales pipeline.
• Maintain consistent sales activity levels.
• Deliver against revenue targets.
• Work with editorial, digital and marketing teams to create integrated campaigns.
• Build client trust and confidence by simplifying and presenting advertising solutions effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in B2B sales, ideally within media, advertising or marketing.
• Understanding of digital advertising.
• Confidence discussing advertising formats, performance and campaign optimisation with clients.
• Commercially minded, organised and self-motivated approach.
• Ability to sell complex solutions effectively.
• Valid driving licence is essential.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The company is also open to high-performing sales professionals from other sectors and graduates with media, marketing or commercially focused degrees who are looking to build a career in media sales.
