ABOUT THE ROLE
• Bring IKEA’s bedroom planning expertise directly into customers’ homes
• Build relationships with customers and understand their individual requirements
• Provide inspiration and personalised solutions for customers’ bedrooms
• Manage the customer journey from the initial appointment through to payment and follow-up
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Visit customers in their homes to understand their needs
• Provide inspiration and guidance to create personalised bedroom solutions
• Book appointments and plan solutions
• Support customers through payment and follow up after home visits
• Work alongside the Bedrooms Shopkeeper and stay informed about IKEA services and product updates
• Support the Bedrooms department when not carrying out home visits
• Work towards sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
REQUIREMENTS
• Full driving licence held for at least 2 years
• Confident building customer relationships
• Ability to recommend products based on customer needs
• Self-motivated and organised
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own appointments and workload
• Confident taking accurate measurements
• Experience using computer systems including Microsoft Office and planning tools
• Passion for home furnishings
• Interest in understanding customer buying behaviour and creating tailored solutions
