About The Role
J T Jeffrey & Sons is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic cook to join the kitchen team at its new cafe.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys baking, preparing fresh food and maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Bake homemade cakes, scones and other treats.
- Prepare fresh food for the cafe menu.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and organisation.
- Keep kitchen records up to date, including HACCP food safety records.
- Maintain accurate allergen information and ensure food is labelled and handled correctly.
- Monitor food storage, temperatures and stock levels.
- Follow food safety procedures and help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.
