Lime Leisure Ltd is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join its kitchen team in Consett. The successful candidate will help prepare and cook high-quality dishes, support kitchen operations and maintain food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Keep kitchen workstations and equipment clean and organised.
• Help manage food preparation and production to ensure timely service.
• Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
• Work with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Follow health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and special promotions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar restaurant or hospitality role.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Leadership skills and experience supervising or mentoring kitchen staff.
• Passion for cooking and delivering excellent dining experiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends.
