About The Role
Memory Lane Care Homes is recruiting a Care Assistant to support residents with their daily needs, help them maintain their independence and ensure they feel safe, comfortable and at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with moving and handling.
- Assist residents at mealtimes.
- Support social activities and residents’ daily routines.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, friends and healthcare professionals.
- Keep healthcare professionals informed and update the team leader on residents’ needs and progress.
- Help residents make choices about their day-to-day lives and enjoy greater independence.
- Assist with care records and other tasks required to support residents.
- Ensure residents feel safe, comfortable and secure.
Requirements
- Previous care home experience is preferred, with one year suggested.
- A DBS certificate is preferred.
- A caring and supportive approach to residents.
