Role Overview
- Part-time Kitchen Assistant / Cook role with independent street food brand STRIP’D
- Based at STACK Seaburn in Sunderland
- Opportunity to join a growing Nashville-style fried chicken street food business
- Weekend and peak trading availability required
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Nashville-style fried chicken to order
- Take and process customer orders quickly and accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with stock management, deliveries and food preparation
- Ensure portion control and presentation standards are maintained
- Handle dietary requirements and food allergies carefully
- Provide a friendly and welcoming customer experience
Requirements
- Availability to work weekends and busy trading periods
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn kitchen systems and food safety procedures
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in catering, street food or hospitality
- Knowledge of basic food hygiene and health and safety
- Interest in street food or independent food brands
