Role Overview
- Part-time Airside Ramp Agent role at Newcastle Airport
- 30 hours per week with shift work between Monday and Sunday
- Hands-on airport operations role supporting aircraft turnaround and ground handling
- Working outdoors in a fast-paced aviation environment
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload baggage, cargo and mail from aircraft
- Marshal aircraft to and from gates safely
- Operate ground service equipment such as tugs, belt loaders and baggage carts
- Carry out aircraft servicing tasks including cabin cleaning and water replenishment
- Follow airport safety and security procedures
- Work closely with airline partners and airport teams
Requirements
- Valid full UK manual driving licence
- Ability to pass airport security background checks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays
