Role Overview
- Part-time Customer Service Agent role at Newcastle Airport
- 25 hours per week with shift work between Monday and Sunday
- Customer-facing role supporting airline passengers during their journey
- Opportunity to work within airport ground services and aviation operations
Key Responsibilities
- Greet passengers and provide friendly assistance at the airport
- Support check-in, luggage handling and boarding procedures
- Provide information about flights, baggage policies and airport services
- Resolve passenger questions or concerns professionally
- Follow airline, airport and security procedures
- Complete administrative tasks including data entry and documentation
- Work closely with airline staff and colleagues to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with passengers
- Good attention to detail when handling passenger information
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy airport environment
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Good written and spoken English
