Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding in line with dietary requirements
- Administer medication as prescribed and follow appropriate procedures
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate and confidential care records
- Carry out light housekeeping duties
- Help maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Accompany clients to medical appointments
- Assist clients with errands when required
Requirements
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
- Full training will be provided
- Caring and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and reliable approach
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Ability to commute easily to the advertised location
- Driving licence preferred
About The Role
Premier Community Care is recruiting Care Assistants in Wingate to provide high-quality home care and support clients in the comfort of their own homes.
The successful applicant will help clients with personal care, mobility, meals, medication and everyday activities while providing companionship and emotional support.
The role also involves maintaining accurate care records, carrying out light housekeeping and accompanying clients to medical appointments or helping with errands when required.
