ABOUT THE ROLE
• Provide person-centred care to residents.
• Support residents with their day-to-day lives.
• Provide personal care, social activities and mealtimes.
• Promote independence and maximise residents’ quality of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence care.
• Support mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and a friendly presence.
• Support residents’ mental and emotional wellbeing.
• Observe and report changes in physical or emotional condition.

REQUIREMENTS
• NVQ Level 2 in Adult Health and Social Care is ideally preferred.
• At least 1 year’s care experience is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong empathy.
• Genuine passion for elderly care and team development.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
