About The Role:
Sands Of Tyne Coffee Shop And Bar in Forest Hall is looking for a reliable Barista/Bartender to join its small, friendly team.
The role involves serving customers in a busy, fast-paced environment, preparing drinks and food, processing payments and helping keep the premises clean and organised.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving coffee, food and alcoholic drinks.
- Preparing hot food.
- Taking customer payments.
- Clearing tables and washing dishes.
- Filling and emptying the dishwasher.
- Cleaning and wiping down tables and work areas.
Requirements:
- Applicants aged 18 and over are preferred.
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Reliability and a strong team-working attitude are essential.
- Must be flexible and available to work days, nights and weekends.
- Availability is required both during term time and school or university holidays.
Pay Rates:
- Under 18: £8.00 per hour.
- Ages 18–20: £10.85 per hour.
- Ages 21 and over: £12.71 per hour.
Wages are paid weekly on Fridays.
