Salary: £12.71 Per Hour
Working Hours: 6 Hours Per Week, Every Weekend. Saturday And Sunday, 8am–11am Each Day.
About The Role:
Sodexo is recruiting a Weekend Cleaning Operative to help maintain clean, hygienic and welcoming surroundings at Cuthbert House Approved Premises in Bensham.
The premises provide temporary accommodation and support for people on probation, including individuals returning to the community after prison. Applicants should be comfortable working in this environment and follow site security, safety and confidentiality procedures.
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as training and a uniform will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks to keep the premises clean and presentable.
- Clean kitchens, toilets and communal areas.
- Carry out periodic deep cleaning as directed by a supervisor.
- Replenish supplies, including toilet tissue and hand soap.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Follow health and safety procedures.
- Report faults, hazards and maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a friendly, professional and respectful approach towards residents, colleagues and visitors.
Requirements:
- Reliable availability every Saturday and Sunday for three hours each day.
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Good communication skills and a respectful attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions, manage tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to work independently and support colleagues.
- Must be aged 18 or over and able to provide valid identification.
Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning products are helpful but not essential.
