JOB: Street Food Catering Food Assistant (Part-Time)
Employer: Tandoori Naan Hut
Location: Tyne & Wear (Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3DY – Quayside)
Salary: £12.21–£15.00 per hour

Details:
- Part-time (multiple contract types available including temp, permanent, zero hours)
- Fixed shift: Quayside Market every Sunday
- Additional weekday afternoon/evening and weekend shifts available
- On-the-road/event-based role
Role includes:
- Preparing and serving street food at markets, festivals and pop-ups
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
- Handling cash and card payments
- Supporting marketing and outreach to secure new events
- Assisting with social media promotion
- Occasional van driving (UK licence preferred)
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Experience in catering/hospitality preferred (1 year desirable)
- English language required
- Driving licence preferred (not essential)
- Confident, customer-focused and able to work in a fast-paced environment
